The Big Bang Theory has been one of my favourite shows since its premier. I love that being a geek is ok, because (let’s face it) we all can be pretty geeky at times. Like most comedies, it won’t really end and will continue indefinitely in syndication.
Several years ago, I bought sock yarn because I loved the name of the colour: “Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Spock”. The fact that the yarn is from a New Brunswick based dyer (Turtlepurl Yarns) is even better. As the end of the show’s run neared, I knew it was time to turn the yarn into socks.
They started on my way home from vacation:
With a meeting the next day (and one later in the week)
I stayed home at work for a meeting.
Then spent a few days in hospital waiting rooms.
A conference call.
Back to BIO for another meeting
Another Conference Call
And voila:
Perfect for a not so warm day at the wharf.
Enjoy the final episode.
Excellent job Bonnie. If anyone in the world could awaken my inner knitter, it would be you.

This is so funny, I just wound up my cakes of the same yarn yesterday (the Burberry inspired version on the left of your picture); Can’t wait to see how they turn up, I just love self-striping socks.Your pair looks great.
