Bag of Bottles

My on-going struggle with single use plastic has been remembering my water bottle in the morning. I never forget my coffee cup, because mornings = coffee, but later in the day I usually have that blinding realization my water bottle is in the fridge at home.

My second challenge is how to carry all my bottles. My purse is ridiculously large, but I carry a ridiculous amount of stuff with me. My basically-glued-to-my-hand coffee cup is easy, but by the time I load my water bottle (or two) and a carry-out cup incase I get to feed my completely unhealthy obsession with caramel Frappuccinos I feel like I should be towing a suitcase. I’ve tried a variety of cooler bags, regular bags, and free floating in my purse bag, but none were really working for me.

I think today though, I have a winner.

It’s functional, has room for 4 containers, and the dividers make it easy to stand up. Best of all, I remembered it before I left home.

But if someone is looking for wine they’re going to be seriously disappointed.

I am doing better with taking my bottles with me, but often forget to bring them home! I tend to have two bottles in the Jeep, one in my office, one in the staffroom fridge and a couple kicking around home.
My goal towards minimalism and water bottles seems to be a loosing battle!

I’m not sure how I keep losing them but I seem to leave a trail scattered everywhere I go.

The plastic issue is deeply disturbing to me as well. I can’t carry one of those bags though Bonnie.

I get that. I’m not sure carrying a wine bottle bag is my best look, but so far it’s proven practical. 🤷🏼‍♀️
